Farai follow up on last years critically acclaimed album “Rebirth" with a double remix package, out on Big Dada. Firstly, a club focused remix of post punk album track ‘National Gangsters’ from emerging Brazilian producer LYZZA and secondly a distorted, stripped back re-work of ‘This Is England' from CURL, an experimental London based collective made up of Mica Levi (Under The Skin, Jackie), Coby Sey (Whities) and Brother May.
Farai’s 2018 debut album (a collaborative project between vocalist Farai and artist, musician & producer TONE) received praise from the likes of The Guardian, DJ Mag, Afropunk and The Observer who featured them as their “Ones to Watch” predicting that “This post-punk London duo will be warmly received by disaffected millennials everywhere”. Farai will be touring throughout Europe during the rest of the year with stops at Glastonbury, MIDI Festival in France and London’s Somerset House to name a few.

I seriously love Moor Mother, and everywhere you look she seems to be. I didn't even know she had this duo with DJ Haram until the other day. So, naturally, I grabbed it, and it is, of course, sensational. And then she gives us an album with the monumental billy woods as a Christmas present. You would think this all too good to be true, but it's happened. Gavin Hellyer

J'ai écouté tes compositions pour la première fois durant ta performance "Collective Amnesia" et j'ai été transportée ! Hâte de voir ce que tu nous réserves :) nesmerhoum
Throughout "Under," Dyani presents carefully-produced, soundscapes that, in one moment, invite the body to sway with echoing synths, whistles, claves and, in the next, pummel with waves of thumping hi-hats and bass. Bandcamp Album of the Day Sep 22, 2020
